Iceskating

I love looking through photos and seeing memories that I have only heard about. For instance, I had heard that Meme had been ice skating, but would have never believed, until I saw the photo below. The inspiration of this blog (my photo wall) is still a work in progress, but I can't wait to show you the finished result. I hope you are enjoying the posts, I am trying to post every weekday.
Love,
Brooke

Who would have thought all of those sun glasses would be back in style?

This photo was used as an ad for the Lady Bug in the paper and the EHS year book.

First time for everything

I love that she saved the cocktail napkins from their wedding.

I am so excited to start this blog. So, to start with an explanation....we have had boxes of photos at my parents (Cindy and Terry's) for years now, and every so often Mom and I will fish through some and make a few envelopes to take to various members of our family. For the longest time we have been saying we need to make copies of these photos so everyone can enjoy. So...that's what I am doing. I have been scanning photo after photo, and I thought a family blog would be a great way to share these with everyone. Now, there are enough pictures to maintain a steady flow of posts for years to come, but lets just see how many of you check this out.

Now, if you would like to be added as an administrator of this blog, let me know and you will be able to write and post photos as well. I of course do not have a full knowledge base of who is in every photo, sometimes I will just take a shot in the dark, but either way you can leave comments at the bottom of this page for us to chat about different memories, and to correct what maybe my poor attempt in naming relatives.

Pictures rang from the 1920's-Present, it has been a lot of fun going through these. I hope you enjoy the blog.

Love,
Brooke

This was in a folder marked Benjamin James, but Mom says it's Pappy.

Okay, she would probably kill me for this one, but how classic!
